Bellaire High School Seniors - 2009

Right now we are getting all our 2009 high School Models geared up!  Recently Kellye came in to be a shining star for our 2009 ads.  She did a great job flashing her beautiful smile.  We hope you had a great time Kellye!

Recently I went a little nuts and painted a few walls around the studio.  Kellye was the fist to try out the look.

I love to make animated images.  Especially when we are trying to be silly.

Here is one for mommy and daddy. I don't know how I am going to handle my little girl being in high school.  That time will be here sooner than we think.

I love photographing High School Seniors.  They are a lot of fun and are having the best time of their lives.

Gonzo versus AJ

This afternoon AJ came by the studio for a portrait session.  AJ is a fitness trainer and competes national in fitness events.  In a couple weeks she will be competing in a national event that could promote her to a much higher level in her class.  AJ has worked hard to be in tip top shape and she should be proud of herself.

While I was getting ready for a different lighting setup Gonzo popped in to see what was going on.  He wanted to compare his guns with AJ's.

Gonzo refused to concede that AJ had a little more muscle than he did so AJ proceeded to teach Gonzo a lesson in manners.

Seriously though, no employee of Danny Clark Photography was seriously hurt during this session.  However the bottom right image was a real strangle on Gonzo and I take no responsibility for his injury.

We had fun AJ.  Best of luck on your upcoming competition!

Hip Hop Lollipop Fashions

This past Friday Danny had a studio full of happy fun kiddos ready to show off the fashions of our favorite children's boutique, Hip Hop Lollipop.  Danny did an amazing job setting up almost all different looks for each of the portraits.  First up is the Sizemore gang.

How do you like the orange?  There has been lots of great changes at the studio this last week including an orange painted wall and a blue painted wall.

Those of us with boys frequently have that difficulty of finding cute clothes for our boys that we equally ooh and ahh over.  Jack here shows us that even 4 year olds can look hip.  Danny often ends up with something for our son, James, whenever visiting Hip Hop Lollipop.  In fact, James' newest favorite piece of clothing is a retro Star Wars T-shirt with long sleeves from Hip Hop.  If he could, he would wear it everyday.

Kick'n back being cool....

There are many more fashions and many more cute kids.  To check out more from the day, see the extended entry below and to get your little ones into some of these cool clothes, get over to Hip Hop Lollipop at 6207 Edloe in West University or call Diane at 713-218-7800

The Cot Rocker by babyhugs

I have been a little slow with the blogging recently but hopefully all our events, fund raising and studio wackyness are behind us.  All we have left are holiday portraits, a wedding and a new baby coming in January.  No big deal right?!

The awesome Greibel Family!

I don't do a lot of outdoor sessions but when the Greibels called I couldn't resist watching their boys run around the park.  I have had the pleasure and honor to photograph this family over the last couple years.

These three boys are the sweetest around.  Evan has his hands full with his two baby brothers.

Evan is super cool and didn't slack in the swag department.  He knows hip and he knows how to skate too.

Aaron and Cade are now how to have fun.  They are all smiles and giggles.  It was non stop with these guys too.

These guys had so much fun they decided to just get in the water at the park too.  Gotta love that carefree spirit!

Thanks for sharing your family with me Abby!  We are so excited the boys are happy and healthy!

Fitted Sheets and T-Shirt Folding

Ataxophobia is defined as the fear of disorder or untidiness.  Fortunately I do not suffer from such a disease but I do suffer from the annoyance of not being able to properly fold a fitted sheet.  Laundry in our house is constantly being done.  Denise and I both argue over techniques for folding shirts, towels pants and shorts but we both agree that the fitted sheet is our greatest undertaking.  But today I have hope for our future.  I have turned to YouTube for help and think tonight I will sleep well knowing my fitted sheets are properly folded in the closet.

In addition to the fitted sheet struggle, I have also found a really cool new way to fold T-Shirts.

This evening the Clark Family actually ENJOYED folding clothes together.  It was funny watching James and Whitney fold their own clothes.  So spend some quality time with your kids this week and teach them to fold their own clothes.

Halloween Fund Raiser - We Are Out For Blood!

On Halloween Danny Clark Photography and Hip Hop Lollipop are hosting a fundraiser for Hermann Memorial Children's Hospital.  In addition, the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will have a blood mobile on-site ready to SUCK YOUR BLOOD!

Here is how all this wackiness will work.

When:  From 2 until 9 PM on Halloween day (That's Friday, October 31st)

Where:  Halloween Portraits will be taken inside Hip Hop Lollipop:  Located at 6207 Edloe.

How Much:  Each person in the picture must provide a new children's book to donate to the Hermann Children's Hospital Library or pay $5.00.

What you get:  Aside from the warmth in your heart from helping children, you also get a 5X7 super creepy portrait per person in the portrait.

Now how about that BLOOD?  Well we also hooked up with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center to collect blood donations from 4 to 8 PM.  Here is the cool part. ----->  If you donate blood we will give you a $100 Danny Clark Photography gift certificate for your use any way you like.  (This certificate has no cash value and can only be used towards services and retail products at the studio.  Can not be exchanged for cash-- Legal stuff we gotta say) and a discount coupon to Hip Hop Lollipop.  If you plan on giving blood, please call us at the studio to schedule a time. 713-942-2272.

Help us meet our goal by filling every 15 minute slot available.

This is going to be a lot of fun, so bring out the family in their cutest, scariest, silliest costumes you can find.  And you never know.  We just might give a little something extra for the best costume of the night.

To get the full detail flyer please check out THIS CREEPY LINK.  Its printable so feel free to pass it around!  Have fun and give for a wonderful cause.
